Collage and Cookies with the BASEMENT

Collage and Cookies with the BASEMENT aims to bring together those interested in art publication and creation. Come add to a collaborative, giant collage. Our team will provide snacks and magazines, however, we invite you to bring in any upcycled material. Meet a new friend and learn more about our publication and getting involved! You will also have the opportunity to view or purchase our last edition of our magazine and talk to us about any questions about student art publishing/curation. 

The BASEMENT is an online, student-run art publication located within the University of Washington’s School of Art + Art History + Design. Through our website and in-person shows, our team connects with students of all art disciplines to provide a platform for their work. Our publication’s name takes after the well-recognized locale of the actual art building’s basement, a creative beehive, and center of the art building.
