Crafts for a Cause with the American Cancer Society on Campus

Come join the American Cancer Society to create crafts to donate to the Seattle Children’s pediatric oncology unit and learn more about our club!

Also commonly known as UW Relay for Life, we focus on supporting those battling cancer through fundraising, spreading awareness, and hosting our annual Relay for Life event. Whether you’ve participated in your local Relay for Life or are new to the American Cancer Society, whether you’re a pre-health student or are just passionate about helping those with cancer, we invite everyone to join our club.

As a club, we provide opportunities to gain meaningful volunteer experience and build lasting connections with those who share a passion for ending cancer. Relay for Life is an annual community-based fundraising walk where teams take turns walking/running around a track to honor cancer survivors, participate in games, support local vendors and food trucks, and remember loved ones lost. The funds raised from the event go towards patient support services, cancer research grants, public education, and legislative advocacy.
