Come test your crafting and engineering skills at the UGMP Egg Drop! You and your team will have two hours to create a contraption from provided materials, capable of safely delivering the egg from the Physics Courtyard Balcony to the Burke-Gilman Trail below. Teamwork is encouraged: come with your team or be ready to make new friends. Shelters will be judged in two categories: durability and creativity of design. Prizes include some serious bragging rights.
Schedule:
1-3 pm Drop-in crafting session; stay for however long it takes to prepare your shelter. Supplies are first-come first-served.
3-3:30 pm Dropping and judging sessions begin; be sure to catch this high-energy portion of the event.
