Incoming First Year Students Hike

Join Peaks & Professors at the University of Washington for a guided hiking adventure through Washington’s breathtaking landscapes as part of Dawg Daze! Peaks & Professors is a student-run club that brings students together with professors and professionals from a wide range of fields out on the trails, creating conversations and connections you simply can’t find in a classroom. We host hikes of all difficulty levels year-round, exploring everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

For this special first year student event, we’ll be taking groups out on beginner friendly hikes across some of Washington’s most beautiful scenery. No experience required, just show up ready to explore! We will provide all required gear and snacks, so all you need to bring is yourself, some comfortable layers, and a sense of adventure. Space is limited so grab your spot early on your preferred hike location and come find your community at the UW
