Washington Wave is UW’s marine renewable energy club. Every year, we design, build, test, and create a full business plan for a wave energy converter for the Marine Energy Collegiate Competition. Beyond the technical work, our core mission is building a supportive community for all students to learn and contribute meaningfully.

We would love to have anyone and everyone at our event! There’s no prior engineering or renewable energy experience needed to join us. Whether your passion is engineering, clean energy, the ocean, or legos, we’re excited to see you at Legos & Pizza with Washington Wave.
