What is the D Center? Why should I go there? You can get these questions answered and more! Visit the UW Disability and d/Deaf Cultural Center (known as the D Center) to meet our staff, explore our resources and learn how you can get involved! We will have crafts, snacks and games to play or you can chill out in our low-sensory room.
The D Center, located on the third floor of the HUB is a physical and virtual community gathering space for UW students, staff, and faculty who identify as Disabled, D/deaf, or allies. We are committed to fostering a safe space for folks of all abilities to learn, socialize, and celebrate pride in community with each other.
The D Center Open House will be on Wednesday September 30th from 2-4pm in HUB 327. For more information or to request accommodations email dcenter@uw.edu
