Sail Along With Husky Sailing Team

Join The Husky Sailing Team for an on the water experience in dinghy sailboats. Come to Sail Sand Point by Magnuson Park to explore Lake Washington with one of our experienced sailors. We will have three sessions, meeting in front of the Architecture Hall (ARC) at 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, and 5:00 pm. We will bus with you to Sail Sand Point, where we house our boats and run our practices. We will also provide life jackets. We will then introduce you to one of our sailors and you will get to sail around while they show you the ropes (pun intended!). As a student run sports club we are looking for new recruits who have interest in learning to sail competitively. We travel all around the Pacific Northwest, racing against schools like Western Washington University and University of Oregon. We welcome any skill level, so don’t worry if you have never been in a sailboat before.
