The Daily is the University of Washington’s student news organization, producing a variety of content online and in print throughout the year. Established in 1891, The Daily has served the UW and U-District communities faithfully by seeking out and publishing the stories that matter to our readers. Come be part of our ongoing legacy, 130 years and counting.

We are 100% student-run. From our leadership and advertising teams to our writers and photographers, we provide a professional, but incredibly fun, working and learning environment for students interested in journalism, media, marketing, business, design, and anything else. The Daily is not limited to only aspiring journalists; we have staff from all majors, departments, and programs.
