Totes for Labor! Design a tote bag with the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies

September 24 @ 11:00 am12:30 pm

Please join the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies and Student Organizations dedicated to the fight for working people! Design a tote bag (bags and paint-markers provided at event), learn about the work the Bridges Center and Student Organizations do to support students and community, and find out how to get involved!

The Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies supports students and faculty at the University of Washington in the study of labor in all of its facets. Though education and research, our mission is to develop labor studies – broadly conceived to include working people everywhere – as a central concern in higher education. We cultivate connections with labor communities locally and around the world, and inform policymakers about issues confronting workers. The Center supports students through the Labor Studies minor, scholarships, classes, research, internship opportunities, and more. We look forward to meeting with you!
