SUMMARY:Tech Policy Lab Tech Policy Discussion
DESCRIPTION:The Tech Policy Lab is a unique\, interdisciplinary collaboration at the University of Washington that aims to enhance technology policy through research\, education\, and thought leadership. Founded in 2013 by faculty from the University’s Paul G. At our Discussions\, we discuss current events in tech policy. We treat tech policy quite broadly\, so discussion topics could range from social media companies to space law to European legislation regarding privacy. Our Discussions often include undergraduates from a variety of majors\, as well as PhD students studying Computer Science and Informatics\, as well as Law Students. These Discussions take place every Thursday at 12:30 PM in the Tech Policy Lab\, which is located in William H. Gates Hall (School of Law)\, Room 222. \nThe Tech Policy Discussion on September 24th is a unique opportunity for incoming students to learn about the Tech Policy Lab as well as our weekly Tech Policy Discussions.
