Come learn more about SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) at Carmelo’s Tacos on the Ave on Friday, October 2nd, from 5:00–7:00 PM!
SHPE is the largest national nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to advancing Hispanic leadership, representation, and success in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). At UW, SHPE is a welcoming and inclusive community where students can connect with others, build professional relationships, get involved in events, and find opportunities to grow academically and professionally.
All majors and students are welcome to attend! Whether you’re already involved with SHPE or just interested in learning more, come meet current members, learn about what we have planned for the school year, and connect with other students.
Tacos will be available for students to purchase on their own if they’d like, but purchasing food is not required to attend. Attending the event will also enter you into a raffle.
