Young Democratic Socialists of America at UW is hosting a screening of cult classic Hayao Miyazaki film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, a hopeful story about rebuilding a world destroyed by unbridled capitalism and fascism.  This event is for anyone interested in finding community on campus with like-minded individuals concerned with ecological safety, the dangers of capitalism, and building community. YDSA UW is the largest openly socialist organization on campus, committed to fighting for students’ rights, union protections, LGBTQ+ rights, and public transit.  The screening will be held in Allen Auditorium.
